A Technology Partner You Can Count On

TIG will earn its place as a trusted partner to our clients, providing the highest level of service, value and advanced technology to ensure our clients achieve their goals.

TIG is a well-respected minority-owned, small disadvantaged business enterprise as certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration with over 23 years of Information Technology (IT) experience. Affiliated with multiple regional minority business development councils, TIG offers a unique solution to many national and international enterprise business clients. TIG is currently ranked the 9th largest minority business enterprise in the U.S. and the 3rd largest minority business enterprise in California. TIG was awarded 2003 Supplier of the Year by the Southern California Minority Business Council.

Founded in 1981, TIG President and CEO, Bruce Geier, recognized the potential that computers had to improve the way the world conducted business. Mr. Geier founded PC Specialists, Inc. to give small and medium businesses the expert service and products they would need to compete in the new economy. Mr. Geier joined the original MicroAge franchise network, quickly becoming one of their most successful members. The company eventually outgrew the MicroAge model and in 1994 PC Specialists, Inc. officially changed its name to Technology Integration Group (TIG). The name symbolizes advanced systems integration, network planning and product procurement as company standards.

While TIG expanded its product and service offerings to further accommodate client needs, the company never lost focus on their individual customer requirements. TIG established dedicated sales teams to meet the unique requirements of their enterprise corporate, small and medium corporate, education, medical, legal, industrial, finance and government clients.

In addition to traditional hardware and software procurement, TIG maintains a highly trained Professional Services team of certified System Engineers, manufacturer-authorized Technicians and pre-sales consultant specialists plus sales team members who focus on a broad range of specialties including: enterprise security, enterprise storage, Outsourced IT, help desk and desk side support, network consulting, data center solutions and services, web programming and hosting to traditional and B2B procurement of traditional hardware, software and computer supplies. TIG also features a telecommunications division providing cellular, Voice Over IP (VOIP) and contract management, a full-turnkey office furniture division, and CCSI, a division of TIG, a contract manufacturer.

TIG fully supports Federal government clients through a dedicated sales and management team. TIG holds a GSA contract, is a supplier to the Department of Defense (DOD) e-mall, holds a National Institute of Health (NIH) ECS III procurement contract and was awarded the Air Force SSG/AQ BPA for rugged computing notebook and handheld products and cases. TIG is an award winning Just In Time (JIT) contracted supplier to many Federal entities. TIG's financial stability as an enterprise class supplier effectively bridges the minority manufacturer/supplier gap in providing a single source supplier capable of fulfilling a large, long-term commitments.

Committed to giving back to the communities that TIG calls home, TIG continually contributes to area K-12 schools, communities and not for profit entities. With K-12 education budgets being reduced and in some cases eliminated, Computers For Kids program infuses much needed technology into computer labs of our community’s schools. After seeing the positive impact Computers For Kids has had in the San Diego community over the past five years, TIG is expanding the program to reach major metropolitan areas where TIG holds a branch location. This program is made possible by leveraging TIG’s solid reputation with long-term industry manufacturer alliances.

In a turbulent economy, TIG’s well-established reputation as a financially stable IT business partner is widely recognized by manufacturers, clients and industry entities. GE Commercial Distribution Finance’s Sr. VP of Marketing, Michael Marcolina states, “During a time when many computer resellers have struggled, PC Specialists (TIG) has grown significantly in size and financial stability.” Today, TIG is a nationwide, full-service computer systems integrator with nearly $200 million in fiscal year 2003 revenue. With 19 locations from Honolulu to Philadelphia and access to 480 service locations, TIG actively serves organizations' computing needs coast-to-coast. TIG currently employs 320 in its 19 branch office locations:
