San Diego, CA—Technology Integration Group (TIG) announced today that Georgia Vasilion has been promoted to Vice President of Public Sector for the company. Vasilion has been with TIG since 1999, when the company owned by her and her husband Bill was acquired by TIG. In her most recent role as Director of Public Sector for the company, Vasilion has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s public sector business, and in particular has championed the growth of the education vertical market, which helped to result in TIG being named Education Integrator of the Year by CRN.

“Georgia has worked diligently moving up the ladder and earning the respect of all of those she has worked with,” said Bruce Geier, TIG President/CEO. “She has done a fantastic job, creating value, articulating the TIG story and devoting endless hours to proposals and public sector initiatives.  Her diligence on RFP’s and proposals has been priceless to those she works with.  We look for continued growth of the Public Sector Sales as Georgia becomes even more involved.”

“I am excited and honored to fill the role of VP of Public Sector for TIG,” said Vasilion. “The company has shown a long-term commitment to supporting public sector customers and sales efforts, and I look forward to further championing TIG’s growth in federal, state & local, and education markets.”
